Hello,

My name is Christine van Vredendaal and in the spirit of new researchers introducing themselves, I would like to say hi.

I am a PhD student at Eindhoven University of Technology. After some work on rank estimation in side-channel attacks, I am now working on my main topic. I am working on implementing (and hopefully optimizing) class group computations and the number field sieve, while keeping applications in ideal lattices in mind.

Currently a colleague and I are poking around clarifying the details of the GCHQ attack. I am therefore looking forward to the Cramer/Ducas/Peikert/Regev paper that Chris Peikert mentioned.

Cheers,

Christine

Hello Christine,

I've been very curious as to what the "Soliloquy Cautionary Tale" relied on in terms of a quantum algorithm.  I look forward to reading your work.
