There is  an ongoing debate as to the cause of the apparent dearth of
workers in the labour force and on the extraordinary drop in
productivity that the North American economy has been enduring of late.
Here are some eye-opening observations - see below - that purport to
suggest that this is a direct result of long covid.  This underscores
the importance of getting the covid 19 boosters and doing everything to
maintain one's health.

I couldn't agree more, Gary. Evidence is also emerging that even mild Covid cases in young individuals cause a lasting immune system damage through T cell depletion. For that reason, some epidemiologists now call Covid "airborne HIV" and believe a prior Covid infection to be the reason behind the large numbers of critically ill kids in hospitals.

Ben, who is our resident expert on health matters, may be in a position to shed light on things that we can do to boost our natural defense against covid, aside from the obvious vaccine boosters. Ben?
