Researchers from the Mayo Clinic, University of Texas Health Science
center at San Antonio and the University of Connecticut are joining with
Jackson Laboratory in a collaborative effort to study senescent cells,
which are suspected of playing an important role in ageing. This
demonstrates that this approach to the study of ageing is gaining
traction in the academic world.
