AWS tools unexpectedly broken

Hi Mike,

we've recently had our AWS toolkit suddenly break. If I try to submit a job through the Relion GUI, the instance never gets launched. If I try to manually launch an instance, it also never starts and is paused indefinitely at "Launching AWS instance ... for user ... "

Has something changed on your end, like an AMI update, etc.? 

I can still make and delete EBS volumes from the command line, and I can launch instances from the AWS online console. 

Can you think of any way we may have broken your scripts?

I re-pulled the tool kit from your GitHub. This didn't solve the problem.

I also tried using the Relion3 AMI and this didn't work either.

This seems to have cleared up on its own. I can launch instances from the command line again. Haven't tried from the GUI yet. I suspect something was changed unknowingly on our end but has been reverted back to normal.
