Hi,
I am trying your new Cryo-EM tools to submit jobs from relion GUI and although I think I have followed carefully setup instructions I am getting the following error when trying to execute unblur:

2018/01/31 13:21:34 Attempt 1/3 failed with 1 errors and: InvalidBucketName: The specified bucket is not valid.
status code: 400, request id: 3A065269EB4BF4E4

  File "relion/qsub_aws", line 3369, in relion_run_motioncorr

Looking in the code I can see everywhere that folder .aws_relion should exists but I cannot find it anywhere nor I found instructions on where and how to create it.

Am I missing something?

thanks
Laura

Hi Laura,

Did you add 'S3FullAccess' permissions using AWS IAM ? Just to make sure that you can write to S3.

Regarding the .aws_relion file, that will be created eventually but is not required in order to launch the code.

Hi Mike,
in fact I did not have that permission on my IAM user. I have added it, remake Access key and tried again but I am still getting the same error:

Do I need to start by importing the movies so they get to the S3 bucket? I got the impression that movies are uploaded into S3 when trying to align them (unblur/motioncor2) but maybe I need to import them before using that queue_aws.

thanks
Laura
