Composting Workshops Scheduled through Jne 2026

[Compost Santa Cruz County]

Fellow Compost Fanatics,

Basic Composting Workshops are now scheduled monthly from September through June 2026 at a variety of locations around Santa Cruz County, including a few virtual events via Zoom.

The first workshop in the new season is on this coming Saturday morning, September 13, 10am to noon, on Zoom, led by Michele Elia and myself.

Since you have been composting for ages, you have probably already taught the basics to all your friends and family.  But if you can think of someone who could hear the information better from an unrelated source, send them our way!

The workshops are offered to all residents of the county at no charge by the County Department of Community Development and Infrastructure, Public Works Division.  (Actually, there is no geographic limitation for our virtual events!)
