Sorry to bore you with list moderation details.
I figured out why we got spammed. I had allowed anyone to join the Google Group, so 3 people joined recently and proceeded to hit us with the same spam message. They have been kicked off the island.
Now a prospective member of the group must request admission, which I will review.
I trust all of you, so I have removed moderation of your messages to each other, and they will be immediately posted.
This list has the potential of being a valuable resource for our rottin' habit!
