Dear Compost Fanatics (like me!),
You may have attended a composting workshop not so long ago and set
up worm bin. Now, with some hands-on experience with your little
red wrigglers, you may be ready to learn some new tips from other
experienced vermicomposters and share with them the insights you
have acquired. You are invited to attend our Advanced Worm
Composting Symposium for people who have some experience maintaining
a worm colony.
This free gathering will be held on Saturday, October 11 from 10am
to noon at the Live Oak Grange. If this date doesn't fit your
schedule, we will be doing it again on February 7th. If you would
like to attend, please sign up at
goo.gl/Fw6BaK.
This meeting will be a great place to pose your thorniest problems
with worm composting to a group with a combined vast wealth of
vermicomposting experience. And if you have developed a best
practice you would like to share with others, please let me know
ahead of time so we can work your short presentation into the
schedule.
As we will expect attendees to already be familiar with basic
concepts of composting, this event is not appropriate for a rank
beginner to worm composting who would do better at one of our Basic
Composting Workshops.
Thanks,
-Jeffrey Smedberg
