Crux version 4.2 has been released. This release includes all the fixes and improvements included in the interim builds since Crux 4.1. The most significant recent change was updating to ProteoWizard  3.0.24044.fd6604. This required shifting Crux and dependencies to the C++14 standard and disabling the C++11 ABI. This fixed issues building Crux on newer releases of Linux and MacOS. The Linux binary is now built under Ubuntu 20.04 rather than Centos 7. We have also updated Percolator to 3.6.5.d0d48b5.

The recommended version of CMake is now 3.24. Earlier versions will work,
but you may see some warning messages. We recommend a GCC version >= 10.0 for building on Linux, and Visual C++ 2019 for building on Windows. The binary distribution for MacOS will run on Apple Silicon but building from source on MaOS requires an Intel processor.
