"Could not convert string '-nan'" error

Hello,

I'm using `crux assign-confidence` and getting the following std out with the error at the bottom:

INFO: Assigning index 2 to results/250812_Updated_Files_with_NeoHIP/1A/hybrid_run/HuIslets_250620_1A_Baseline_20hrNoTreatment_AspN_Fxn5.comet.target.txt.
INFO: Found 38977 PSMs in results/250812_Updated_Files_with_NeoHIP/1A/hybrid_run/HuIslets_250620_1A_Baseline_20hrNoTreatment_AspN_Fxn5.comet.target.txt.
INFO: Score type=xcorr score, sorting in descending order
FATAL: An exception occurred: Could not convert string '-nan'

I don't see any weirdness with the xcorrs in the offending file. Any thoughts on what's happening? Thanks! I'm attaching the offending *.target.txt file and here's the full command I'm running:

crux assign-confidence --overwrite T --output-dir tmp results/250812_Updated_Files_with_NeoHIP/1A/hybrid_run/HuIslets_250620_1A_Baseline_20hrNoTreatment_AspN_Fxn5.comet.target.txt

Hi Erik,

Can you send the decoy file (the one that ends in comet.decoy.txt)?  I suspect that the -nan is in there.

Oi, you're absolutely right. There was a -nan in there that I changed to 0. Thanks for catching that.

Im glad you found the issue. But nan is still not accepted in the search results. Could you please let us know how did you run comet so that it produced nan?
