HELP! CRUW needs help with collection at Van Hage's on 26th-27th April

Hello lovely supporters!

 

As you’ll have seen, CRUW is organising a fundraising collection in aid of Cancer Research UK on 26th-27th April at Van Hage’s garden centre near Ware.

 

As usual we plan to have a team member there at all times, but we need a willing volunteer to stand with them. We’ve divided the weekend into 2-hour slots, so no-one has to spend too much of their weekend at the event. On Saturday we plan to be there from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday, between 10am and 4pm. Would you be available to support a team member for 2 hours? This is one of our most important fundraising events of the year, so you will be really helping us meet our fundraising objectives for the year!

 

What’s involved?

- You’ll be expected to stand with the CRUW team member and chat about anything you fancy for around 2 hours, smile at the public and thank them for their donations. Any questions from the public will be handled by the CRUW team member.

 

What do I need to bring?

- A positive, cheerful disposition. That’s all! A CRUK tee-shirt or sash will be provided.

 

If you’re able to help, please reply to this message and let me know all the times you could cover. I will put together a schedule based on everyone’s availability and let you know which of those times we’ll need you.
