Help needed for collection at Pearce's Farm Shop Saturday 1st December

Hello!

 

Not sure if you keep up with CRUW on Facebook or Twitter, but if you do, you’ll know that we had a really successful October, collecting a combined total of over £1,100 outside Van Hage’s Garden Centre near Ware and Tesco in Hertford over two weekends. We also raised over £1,300 for CRUK through a charity ball, organised by one of our team. We’ve now surpassed £50,000 in funds raised for Cancer Research UK since the team raised its first donation (of £15!) in October 2010, just two short years ago.

 

On Saturday 1st December, we’ll be holding a one-day collection outside Pearce’s Farm Shop just north of the A120/A10 junction, west of Bishop’s Stortford, near Buntingford. We’ve divided the day up into two hour slots, starting around 9am (TBC), finishing at 5pm. We have a CRUW team member covering each slot, but it would be really helpful to have one other volunteer with them, as this makes it more fun and allows for loo breaks etc.

 

This would be a great chance to get involved (no experience necessary) and do something really valuable for a couple of hours. If you can spare the time, I’d love to hear from you!
