Is there any way to find out Funding Rounds & Acquisitions information
using the API (query or any other way)

Thanks,

Yes, you can find out about both of these using the current API.

When you query for a company, the returned hash has both an
"acquisition" and "acquisitions" key. The former gives information if
the target company has been acquired by another company and the latter
is an array giving information about any companies that the target
company has acquired.

The "funding_rounds" key for companies gives information about rounds
of funding that the target company has raised, while the "investments"
key gives information about funding rounds for other companies in
which the target company has participated.

I hope this helps, please feel free to post follow up questions to the list,
- Mark

There is currently no way to do these advanced queries through the
API. Note that you can use the advanced company search
(http://www.crunchbase.com/search/advanced/companies) to do this on
the web.
