CRUMC JOBS Program

After many years of serving those in career transition in the DFW area, the JOB networking group and ministry at Custer Road United Methodist Church has decided to cease operations due changes we have incurred in staffing and volunteer availability.  Our Tuesday night meetings will no longer be held, effective immediately. The ministry served our participants well through education, support and guidance, but we know there are many other quality programs in the DFW area that will adequately support people in transition.  We are so grateful to the many volunteers that have selflessly dedicated their time and hearts to this ministry over the years. Christ’s love was shown in many different ways.

 

Our Google and Yahoo groups will remain active for now to allow for continued job postings and open communication.  For those in career transition, we refer you to www.careerdfw.org for a listing of other local networking groups and programs that can be of further assistance to you.

I want to thank Taci Kistler and Roy Hunter for their efforts over the years. I helped facilitate for many years and loved the people and the progress I saw within the group. We had many wonderful volunteers who helped throughout the years, who should be named but you know who you are. I am grateful the group lasted over 10 years and helped so many unemployed, unemployed and career changers. May you remember the caring and sharing. Peace to all.
