The other day, someone asked me about using Social Media during their job search. I found this while looking for something else, this comment is from someone who came through the CRUMC Jobs Program, and I believe that he used twitter a good bit as well.

Just a reminder of some of the things that you should be doing with LinkedIn. By posting a status update, I popped up on the radar of the person who just hired me for my new job. He approached me via LinkedIn about a job that his company had not yet posted. When I asked him, what made him think of me, he replied, I saw you on LinkedIn.
