To anyone out there, hello!
This list has been quiet for a long time, and most of us who played in the past are now in different cities. But crumble still exists and it's still beautiful.
Between me, Misha, and Adam S (who also wrote the site), we've been giving
https://crumble-online.com/ a workout lately, and it's definitely usable for remote play.
If anyone wants a game, there are several open challenges, and you can also create your own. I'll definitely be one of the players accepting challenges.
Also, if you know anyone who might enjoy playing, this would be a great time to teach them. Maybe they'll defeat the game's creator!
A note on the UI: The site's under active development, and currently there is no 'chat' option between players, or alerts when moves are made, or the ability to resign or offer draws. For my games, both players will either check the site periodically to see if our opponent has made a move, or we'll have a separate chat window open, to let each other know it's their turn. Those techniques work for me. If you develop your own tips'n'tricks, please post them here!
Hope to see you on the site!
Be well,
Zack
