Idea trigger is by the powerfull Kurviger motorbiking app.
Kurviger offers true 100% faithful TRACK navigation by .kurviger file transfers.

Request a similar functionality this by a gpx track optimised for cycling walking.
Goal: Cruiser map so will navigate the RouteYou web generated gpx navtrack files.

Turninstructions are discretely attached into the trackpoints by Locus compatible <sym> text.
This sym text turnlist is well documented and as such is generated by the RouteYou webplanner.

Cruiser: Import a gpx track (navtrack) that contains (Locus) turninstructions into the trackpoints.
Choose whether to display the track as an overlay, as a plug an play navtrack, or show both.
When importing a navtrack with the option "Original" no (re)calculation will so take place.
As all the turn data is present, immediately start up a 100% TRUE faithful track navigation.
When importing this gpx navtrack with the option "Original*, the original design is so retained.

IMPORTANT:
When importing a gpx navtrack via another option than "original" or when modifying the import with a new, moved, modified, deleted planner Shaping or Via point, the design will be recalculated!
When importing, so optimally choose the option "Overlay + Routing". Thus you will be able to visually compare any recalculated navtrack result with the imported original traject.

Excellent suggestion. I primary use Locus Map although in comparison to Kurviger, and even Cruiser, LM4 is falling behind in terms of route planning & UX. It's shaping points are not currently saved to GPX file

Since the Cruiser app and the Kurviger app are very similar, you naturally compare both.
Kurviger, in cooperation with Kurviger web, focuses specifically on motorbike navigation.
The .kurviger file contains (complex) profiles reusable in cooperation with the online Kurviger router engine.

The Cruiser app and the Windows version can thus optimally be used for bicycle and hiking navigation.
The easy-to-use Cruiser app with simple true turn_by_turn gpx track navigation would go very well together.

Visually, too, both apps are very nice and sure very attractively presented.
Congratulations Emux, very well done.

It would indeed be very nice that after importing a track design you can immediately navigate without the Cruiser app having to start calculating.
Depending on the own routing settings in the receiving app, there is always a very good chance that the route will still deviate from the design.
This is very useful if a certain route has to be followed.

GPX navigation track (offline) import / export is available in Cruiser 2.2.3 (Beta).
e.g. from RouteYou

Select "Navigation" in the import / export dialogs.

You can register for the Cruiser (Beta) testing on Google Play.
