Zoom Level / Gas Stations disappear too early

I'm coming from the Kurviger2 app and today I subscribed to the pro version of Cruiser as a potential successor to Kurviger. After some trial and error, Cruiser seems to be a good solution for me although it lacks the special routing profiles for motorcycling. The advantage: Only little change of habits and a few interesting additional features.

One thing bothers me though and I haven't found a solution:
Gas stations disappear too early. They are not displayed in Freizeitkarte below zoom level 15, in Mapsforge and OpenAndroMaps already not below level 16. In Kurviger they only disappeared below zoom level 10.
How can I change the behavior of the gas station display? As it is, it is not possible to get an overview of the existing gas stations in the wider area and in the direction of travel. For me this is very unconvenient.

Offline maps are usually best used together with their themes.
OpenAndroMaps + Elevate theme and Freizeitkarte + its themes.

The themes are downloaded automatically with their offline maps.

Their creators decide the zoom level where map elements are displayed.
We need to modify the map themes, in order to change the zoom levels.


Or you can enable the advanced menu in "Settings | Application | Menu".
And use the "Open maps" / "Open theme" menu you know from Kurviger.

Then you can download Kurviger maps from their server
and use the attached theme we wrote in Kurviger app.

This process can become easier in the future. Ideas are always welcome!

Editing map themes is usually easier on the desktop, you can use the Cruiser desktop app:

Hint: Press F5 to reload the edited theme.

Desktop Cruiser is used by many theme creators to test their themes.
e.g. OpenAndroMaps, Freizeitkarte

The min zoom level of the map layers depends on 2 things:
- Map files (hard-coded)
- Map themes (can change it)

I cannot control the OpenAndroMaps maps + Elevate theme or the Freizeitkarte maps + themes.

But I can change the min zoom level in the Mapsforge maps for some layers.

So when you combine them with your favorite map theme,
you will have the layers appear on the zoom levels you wish.

Please see the Mapsforge tag-mapping.

It contains the 'zoom-appear' for all the layers in the Mapsforge map files.
e.g. the 'fuel' has zoom-appear=16

Report here which layers and what zoom level you want,
so we can change them for the next created Mapsforge maps.

Android Cruiser:
- The zoom level appears together with the zoom buttons
- Or in scale bar when select "Settings | Map | Map scale | Advanced"

Desktop Cruiser:
- At status bar (bottom right)

Normally the same Google account should work everywhere.
Maybe the forum environment is different on mobile.
