Hi!
Do you have a roadmap for new features for Cruise Control?

Hi Roberto,

I assume you are the Googler who just reached out to us internally? :)

Does this engine allow you to modify comments after they been posted.
Moreover, can you have more than one post in different pages. For
example having sections?

Thanks and Regards

Hi Matthew,

Cruise Control currently allows you to moderate all comments. You can approve or reject them but not alter them (without going into the App Engine data manager). If there are some additional features you'd like to add here, we'd be happy to review them for inclusion in the project source.

As for sections, we currently have a very flat URL structure. Blog posts are always prefixed with the date and pages have no forward slashes in them at all. We're exploring ways to improve this to allow more flexible URL's for posts and pages. That would allow tags, labels, or sections to be used in the path.

Thanks for reaching out and I hope you find Cruise Control useful and feel free to contribute back any enhancements you add.

-Ryan

Hello Ryan,

Thank you for the good working, this software is well developed. I
would like to contributed with this project by writing addition
documentation. There are some aspects which I do not find clear and
would like to ask you in more details. For example, my first question,
did you use Django to develop this application or not?

A further point whether in the future instead of static pages, there
would be dynamics pages.

Thanks and regards
Matthew Yeomans

We would love a contribution on documentation!

This app is not using Django, but rather using the Django templating system that App Engine supports. So a user would want to become versed in App Engine, Python, and the Django templating http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/templates/builtins/

Could you explain more about the ideas you have for dynamic pages?

Also note that version 1.4 has been submitted for code review. It includes some new changes that you can read up on here: http://cruise-control-code-review.appspot.com/4001/show

Is it possible to have a copy of V1.4 I got the .diff file but would
like to try it.

Sure thing Matthew. I just committed the v1.4 changes to the branches directory. They have not been code reviewed yet though and v1.5 is underway with some significant changes to the datastore.
