Dear All,
According to the Indian calendars, the second week of April marks the beginning of the new year. This year, April 11, marks the first day of Chaitra month, starting new year festivities all over India.

From Navreh in Kashmir to Vishu in Kerala and from Gudi Padwa in Maharashtra to Cheiraoba in Manipur , all Indian states would be celebrating new year in their own unique ways. This would include Baisakhi (Punjab), Ugadi (Andhra & Karnataka), Cheti Chand (Sindhis), Poila Baisakh (Bengal), Pongali Bihu (Assam), Puthandu (Tamil Nadu), Vishuva Sankranti (Odisha), Chaitti (Himachal Pradesh) and Jude Sheetal (UP & Bihar).

All these festivals would be observed between April 11 to April 15. The beautiful geographical and ethnic heterogeneity of India is also manifest in the diverse workforce at Max. Let us celebrate the New Year together!
