New Scancat Lite for 700 Mhz Scanners

I just thought that I would pass this information on as this is sort of a heads up to let us know that the new 700 Mhz Scanners are coming out shortly in the next two quarters of this year as they do the reapportioning of part of the 800 mhz Public Service Band. We will begin shipping on Monday, Feb 11 Scancat-Lite-Plus (SCL) version 1.4.2. 
This now includes support for 3 new radios from Radio Shack

    PRO-163 - New Upgrade Version of the PRO-2055 (Desktop)
    PRO-164 - New Upgrade Version of the PRO-97 (handheld)
    PRO-137 - New Racing Scanner with 1000 Channels (handheld)

We are still working on support for the GRE PSR-500, and it is not ready yet.

You can go to Radio Shack to see what these units are, but basically the 163/164 
are models that now support the newer 700 MHZ frequencies, that the older ones 
such as PRO-97/2055 do not (support). The PRO137 is a racing scanner, and it NOT 
for trunking, just has more memory channels than previous racing radios (1000 
versus the older only had 200 ch's).

We expect there will be more 700MHZ support coming as we understand there are 
3-4 more radios coming out later on in the next two quarters. So if you live in 
an area that recently went to 700MHZ trunking, this is the only solution for 
older radios that cannot be "re-banded".
