I just got some news on the Watervliet Fire Department radio system
yesterday. It appears that they have started using their new
frequency. Here is the channel layout as it was explained to me:

460.425 - Paging. Used now exclusively for paging out members for
call-ins during working incidents.

460.100 - Fireground. This is the new channel. Even though it is
called fireground, this is really the operations channel now. Almost
all radio traffic will be occuring here instead of 460.425. The PD
Dispatcher and FD Dispatcher also hang out on this channel, too.

453.850 - DPW / Fireground - This is the old fireground channel,
shared with DPW. I would guess they kept this channel in their radio
as a backup, and also to speak with DPW units.

I dont know the channel numbering or any other info like that; just
what I was told.
