How to set Chromium Portable as the default browser in windows 10 and other questions.

Question 1: How do I set up Chromium Portable as the default browser in windows 10 ? It obviously doesn't show up as a selection in the default apps settings in windows, since it does not create registry entries. Are there any workaround ? Please do not say that it's portable and shouldn't change system settings, since this is not the reason I am using the portable version.

Question 2: How can I make the page translation function to work ? It says "This page has been translated" but the translation does not show up.

Question 3: How can I make my passwords portable ? After copying the chromium folder to an usb key and running it on another computer, the stored passwords are gone.

1. I can't seem to find a way to manually point associations to a program on Windows 10.
2. Did you get the API keys?  If not, search the help file for GoogleAPIKeys.
3. Also in the help file, as EnablePortablePasswords.  Not sure it still works, though.

Try download 'chrlauncher' from his site http://www.henrypp.org/product/chrlauncher or from GitHub https://github.com/henrypp/chrlauncher and unzip it.

 Inside folder '\32' or '\64' there is the file 'SetDefaultBrowser.bat' for use with chrlauncher but You can edit for work with 'Cromium Portable'.
