Following the post announcing visibility of Mercury this evening, here is an image taken 3 days ago, Wednesday 5th March.
  Sunset 5:48 pm
  Image  6:53 pm

Canon R7 on tripod with 24-70mm L lens (set to 35mm), f/2.8, 4 secs, ISO 100
A provisionally processed single jpeg image.
On the raw file before slight cropping I counted 51 stars that were definite so possibly more.

Almost due west, 65 minutes after sunset, with Venus clearly visible and the elusive Mercury below and a bit to the left above the trees. This evening they are a little closer as Venus is going down and Mercury rising to about its highest position above the horizon tonight.
You may need to turn up the brightness but the star to the right and up a bit is Alpheratz, the bottom left star of the Square of Pegasus, the other 3 are off the field.

Mercury was easily visible by 6:30 pm then, about the same time this evening but that's because I just got home, and by the time I took the attached it was unmistakably naked-eye, becoming more so.
This is a must-see opportunity; it'll be a while before Mercury comes up again with a Venus to help locate it.
If using binoculars go for the smallest low power.
William
