Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the application deadline for CrowdCamp 2025 has been extended: Early Bird registration ends June 23rd, late registration ends Aug 6th. Whether you are an HCI researcher, data scientist, developer, or thought leader in the social and technical aspects of crowd-based systems, we invite you to join us in tackling “wicked problems” through collaborative, hands-on exploration. Apply here: https://forms.gle/QyDwjHBptKAev1vt5

What Is CrowdCamp?
CrowdCamp is a one-day event designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants will form small teams and will ideate, prototype, and pitch solutions that leverage crowdsourcing or human–AI hybrid approaches to address real-world challenges.

Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from:

  • Graduate and undergraduate students (all career stages) interested in crowd-driven research
  • Early-career researchers and postdocs looking to experiment with novel human–computer collaboration methods
  • Industry practitioners who build or manage crowd-related platforms
  • Anyone with a strong interest in collective intelligence, human-AI collaboration, human computation, or crowdsourcing theory and practice

No prior experience is strictly required—just a willingness to learn, collaborate, and build rapidly!
