Hello,
I see that in the BOM page you have PNG images but I was wondering if there was a place you provided individual DXF files so I would be able to nest them myself. I have access to a laser cutter and some 12X19in sheets of acrylic.

Yep! On the wiki at the bottom of the page: https://thecrowbox.com/wiki/doku.php?id=kit:geometry_files

Just to follow up on this - Mathieu, did you split the dxf files?  I also have 12x20 acrylic sheets (the dxf files are for 15.1x15.1 sheets, so I'd like to re-nest the individual pieces).  As an alternative, I was thinking I could crop some pieces and put them on a separate sheet.

Josh (btw, thanks for all your work on this - very cool! I'm excited to get a crowbox put together!), are the individual pieces available somewhere?  on the wiki the dxf files are the complete sheets for all parts of that material.

Thanks in advance,
Mike P.

All,
I don't know if the individual files are or will be available, but I think you can separate it out on your own if needed. I opened the dxf file in inkscape and deleted all lines except for one part (Perch Platform). Then saved it off.
I'll admit, I don't have a laser cutter, so I might be missing something here, but figured it was worth sharing.

Right now all the pieces are arranged in the .dxf files to most efficiently use the standard plexi sheet size for cutting. This was in order to save as much money as possible. We started with Ponoko (who had the broadest distribution and best prices), so used their sizes, but as Michael pointed out you can probably separate individual pieces out if needed - it's just likely to be pricey in terms of plexi!
