SPY Fox: "Operation Ozone" is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Humongous Entertainment for the Windows operating system on May 3, 2001. This is the third and final game to star SPY Fox.

In this game, Poodles Galore, the Queen of cosmetics, has blasted an enormous aerosol (hairspray) space station into orbit and set it off. The constant blast of aerosol will deplete the entire ozone layer within a matter of hours, leaving the planet at the mercy of the ravaging sun; she herself will benefit from this because her cosmetics production company markets sunscreen at an SPF level of 2001. The world will have no choice but to buy Poodles' super sun block, the SPF: 2001, the only sunscreen product with a strong enough sun protection factor to block the onslaught of the sun. It's up to SPY Corps and their top agent SPY, Fox to muzzle that Poodle for good.

SPY Fox has to locate a piece of chicle, the hairspray satellite's APD number, and either a prickly pear pizza or a secret doughnut XY and either a freshwater pearl or a chunk of beauty clay to stop Poodles Galore.

This time around, the Mobile Command Center is located above the bowling alley, which SPY Fox can enter using the correct jukebox number (L4, C5, Q6, Z8, or K9). After disguising as one of Poodles' bowlers, SPY Fox can use the bowling ball gadget (supplied by Professor Quack) to rescue the cosmetics expert Plato Pushpin (the bowling ball captures its "pin" when it comes in contact with it). He will give SPY Fox a list of items needed to create the congeal pill to disarm Poodles' hairspray can. SPY Fox will search the doughnut/pizza shop ran by rising star Pia Zadonut, Poodles' factory, the desert, the jungle, the lake, and other locations in order to get these vital ingredients.

SPY Fox can enter Poodles' moonbase to turn off the forcefield so SPY Corps can take her in. SPY Fox must unlock the right fingernail design in order to turn it off. Afterwards, Monkey Penny and the SPY Corps come right in and send Poodles away to jail. The chief awards SPY Fox with a trophy and asks him what he will do now. SPY Fox ends the game by saying "I think I'll take a vacation. I'm dog tired."

Basic gameplay involves simply clicking on things to have SPY Fox interact with the world. The player advances by solving puzzles, talking with people and obtaining the required item to move forward. There are also an array of gadgets provided by Professor Quack that can help SPY Fox on his way, some of which include Rocket Powered Origami Skateboard, Spy Bowling Ball and Pearl Detector.

Spy Fox 3: "Operation Ozone" is an adventure game developed by Humongous Entertainment and published by Infogrames, part of their "Junior Adventure" line and the final entry in the Spy Fox series of games. The game follows the heroic Spy Fox as he prevents a villainess from opening a massive hole in the ozone layer. The game was released for computers in May 2001.

Spy Fox goes undercover in the Scottish Highlands, where he receives a message hidden inside a lipstick container from Agent Roger Boar. As Spy Fox escapes a group of thugs, the Spy Chief learns that a giant aerosol can is spraying on the ozone layer. Spy Fox then arrives with the message, which is revealed to be a distress message from rocket scientist Plato Pushpin. The Chief then sends Spy Fox to a tiny town called the "Middle of Nowhere", where Monkey Penny and Professor Quack have set up the Mobile Command Center.

Upon Spy Fox's arrival at the Mobile Command Center, Monkey Penny informs him that Plato Pushpin has been captured by Poodles Galore, the self-appointed Queen of Cosmetics and Pushpin's ex-employer. By disguising as one of Poodles' bowlers, Spy Fox rescues Pushpin, who gives him a list of items needed to create a congeal pill to disarm Poodles' hairspray can, which Poodles plans to use to deplete the ozone layer so everyone will buy her SPF 2001 Sunscreen. Using Pushpin's key card to enter Poodles' cosmetics factory and Professor Quack's Spy Car as a means of transportation, Spy Fox sets out to find and collect these items.

With Spy Fox's help, Pushpin completes the congeal pill and gives it to Fox. Spy Fox then enters the spray can and prepares to toss the pill into the aerosol, only for Poodles to intercept it and trap Fox in a steel net. By using wire cutters that Quack gave him earlier, Fox is able to free himself, take back the congeal pill (without Poodles noticing) and successfully throw the pill into the aerosol. As the can becomes unstable, Spy Fox and Poodles flee, with the latter retreating to her moonbase; if Spy Fox follows her there, a bonus ending will be unlocked.

In the bonus ending, Poodles uses a force field to protect her moonbase from intruders while she plots revenge, but not before Spy Fox sneaks in. Using a fingernail code, Spy Fox deactivates the force field, allowing Monkey Penny and the other Spy Corps. agents to invade the base. Spy Fox confronts Poodles, who easily overtakes him, but he is rescued by Monkey Penny, who incapacitates and arrests Poodles. In the end, Spy Fox talks to the Chief about getting a vacation saying that he's "dog tired".

Losing the ozone layer is a big issue for humans and nature, yet human activities cause 80% of the ozone depletion, and people still tend to forget about it.
After lockdown, scientists have found that the ozone layer heals itself due to fewer ozone-damaging substances being emitted from human activities to the atmosphere.

To remind people and raise awareness to do good to the ozone layer, we have visualised the invisible.

This environmental campaign, OPERATION OZONE uses the variable font, SixtyFour, to visualise the ozone layer thinning.

Several species of nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are opportunistic human pathogens and can cause disease to immunocompromised persons or those with certain health conditions. There is growing evidence that drinking water disinfectants such as chloramine and ozone may select for microorganisms that are more resistant to disinfectants, including NTM. This research evaluated strategies to reduce NTM abundance in ozone-BAC filters by reducing the exposure of the filters to chloramine during backwashing. In addition, the research team assessed the impacts of reduced chloramine exposure on the biofilter microbial community composition, physico-chemical, and operational parameters. Spy Fox: Operation Ozone is the third game in the children entertainment franchise from Humongous Entertainment. Built on the SCUMM engine that powered Maniac Mansion, Spy Fox is a graphic adventure game delivered in the typical style and writing that made Humongous a successful publisher of children titles.

The player takes the role of Spy Fox, an international man of action. As a top secret agent Spy Fox, with help from Professor Quack's high tech gizmos, must find a way to stop the mad genius Poodles Galore from realizing her plan to destroy the Earth's ozone layer.

The Good
What can I expect to say good about this game, not everything is that bad. At least the game still can provide you with a good spy environment. Some of the spy concepts, really match well with a spy story. For example other than the idea of an aerosol can spraying it the idea of toxic gas destroying the Ozone layer and it's effects on the earth really match well.

Some of the spy gadgets, that go far beyond most of the ones I've ever seen. The gadgets really well drafted and planned. Like the Pearl Detector, has not been used as an idea in most Spy stories, before, and as for most of the others they have really specific powers making them more special

The Bad
We are in a new millennium, where television cartoons are becoming terrible to most people due to lack of good art, and lack of serious plots. This is not just happening on television, but also with other entertainment sources. I remember playing Putt Putt goes to the moon for the first time when I was in Kindergarten. Later on in first grade my teacher introduced me and my class to Freddi Fish and Pajama Sam. All those Humongous Entertainment classics were some of the best programs I can remember.

However I'm to old to play those games now, and I surely have no wanting to get made fun of. There is still a chance to play something from Humongous Entertainment meant for all ages. At first I thought it would be fun, after I tried it here is what I thought. Spy Fox: Operation Ozone by Humongous Disappointment! I am totally not joking after enjoying Humongous Entertainments games aimed at younger children, the only series for all ages (7 and up) ends up being a failure, here are the reasons why.

Artwork and GraphicsJust as I said before todays cartoons have a big lack of greatness due to lack of good art. That is exactly one of the main factors of this game. Everything: the characters, the backrounds, the items, and character movement are all really poor. In Humongous Entertainments other games everything looks good, not just because of the way they were drawn in a neat fashion, but because they also seemed to fit more with the backround, they stuck out more, and everything looked like it was colored all inside the lines. In this game however their is a very tiny background where almost nothing sticks out, a lot of the same colors are being used in the same place, making the setting look ugly, most colored things in the gameare colored like someone with bad experience in art, was hired by a boss who did not really care if the game would look sloppy, and to top it all off, almost every character in the game, has something that makes them look really messed up. The most common mess for most of the characters, is the way they're developed, their body parts are often floating right next to them, below them, or above them. Looking even more stupid would be their body parts on them sticking out pretty far and have strange shape, for example the dog named "Sport", in the bowling ally has a really big square nose for what a dog would really have. Another example is the duck at the Pearl Farm, his beak is largely bent, his wing is awfully small, and both his wing and his body are shaped like triangles. This is also pretty common for the backgrounds, because the top of a pile of rocks, might be floating right off. Character movement is another problem, several times it seems like most characters (mostly Fox), are moving as if only one side of the front is facing that direction, and this should be easy to tell based on the fact that both of the characters eyes are say on the characters left side. Special effects are the last problem with the game art. When you're in Poodles Factory, and you use the Sticky Stun Bun, on the guards in the rocket room, they end up on the ceiling looking the exact same way as they do, when they are guarding the floor.
