My first puzzle

So I made my first puzzle for Bruce to solve.

All worked surprisingly well, though I definitely ended up forced to
have some words be incomplete or mispelled and then to make clues that
alluded to that.

I think at my current level, I'd be curious to try my next one being a
little less... overlapped? Meaning I'd like to have more ability to
choose my words intentionally, whereas on this one, due to the complex
overlapping and my lack of familiarity with crosswords in general, I
ended up having to just choose words off the list, rather than getting
to have more fun choosing them myself. So I'm gonna try a less complex
one next to see if it helps me get more ownership over the content.
Overall really enjoyed it though!
