Rail Trail

HI All,

      I’m sure most of you noticed that the trail is open.  If you wish to go all the way to Depot Rd in Townsend, you will need to go next to the road along the historic district before rejoining the trail at the old church parking lot.   Getting a sidewalk to join the 2 sections is still a work in progress, but there is a pretty well worn path there now.

      As an FYI, after over 13 years on the board of directors, I’ve decided to leave that position.   So there is no one from the neighborhood on the committee at this time.  If anyone would like to join this board, let Peter Cunningham (bre...@charter.net) know. The intent is to continue the trail south to Cutler field in West Groton, so neighborhood representation would be a good thing.  In particular, the skill they are looking for right now is grant-writing.
