I understand that recent events have jostled some of you around, and
the admins are trying to work it out. One of the things we need to do
is recreate the rules, as it seems they went ignored for quite a
while. The way they were handled earlier in January was done very
poorly. We're doing our best to sort this out.

We do want user input so we can better accomodate your wishes into the
rules. Right now I don't have much I can give you, as the admins
haven't been able to get together, and probably won't until the
weekend. I can post the old rules on Crossroads that were available
on the CR Website (which is down and I'm working on rebuilding).

I would like to ask that all of you remain civil during these trying
times. Anyone that's been around the block is probably used to these
problems popping up in the community. But for the first time in this
community, the admins are actually trying to work together to piece it
back into a cohesive unit.

By talking smack about anyone behind their back, including the
administration, you show to us that you are not capable of mature,
civil discussions. Doing so will lose respect for you, and also has
the side effect of devaluing your comments in the eyes of the
administration. If you have a problem with an admin, talk to them. If
you're unwilling to talk to them, talk to me, or talk to another
admin. Being petty and bitching behind people's backs will get
nothing accomplished. It is nothing more than a poisonous element that
will hurt anything we're trying to accomplish for you. It will not
make you feel better, it will not make anyone else feel better, and it
will not make us feel inclined to help you. Afterall, we are human
too.

We will post more information when it is available.
