If anyone would like to see some textbooks or anything, please let me know! I have a ton and have access to a lot! I have really comprehensive grammar books, which is honestly my favorite subject to teach. I see the students improve their English so much through grammar class.
What is our goal? Do we want to introduce them to our city or perfect their speaking ability? Either way, I think it would be a good idea to make a goal and work toward it.
Also, there are some really great websites with games/worksheets/powerpoints, etc. One big thing that ESL teachers like to use is realia-- ya know, real resources from TV, print, store ads, coupons, books, songs, etc. I've brought a bag full of random items from my house to teach vocab before. That can make it fun and hands on.
