Lets get together to meet our Burmese Families tomorrow, Wednesday at 6pm. Same set up as usual. Meet there unless you want to carpool.
We will stick to the plan we were going to do last week (below). Would anyone like to lead the lesson?
GROUP 1:
All of the students already have page 1 and 2 from the first link (modules 1-6 student book).
1. Review alphabet from last week- saying it is enough
2. Review "Introductions" -- Jose probably remembers the schpiel- "Hi, My name is.... What's your name? Where are you from? I'm from ... Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you, too!"
3. Start new lesson using page 1 and 2 OR make your own. I don't care! You are welcome to be creative. :)
GROUP 2:
Pweh Moo, Lah Ber, and Paw Shee are all advanced and need a little more input. I have a reading lesson that I can scan and send you to have someone teach them. Just have them read it silently, read it out together, and answer the questions together. You'll have to teach some of the vocabulary words. Be creative, draw pictures, etc. It will be great!
GROUP 3:
Can't remember her name-- she was an older woman sitting next to Steve. She's going to need to practice writing some more. She's the true beginner. I have a little dry erase ABC
book for her to practice during the lesson.
I have my little dry erase boards and supplies that I can hand off to someone to take that night.
