Re: Out week plans

I have been getting out at 7:30 or later everyday at my new rotation site so I am not sure of if I can make it tomorrow. I will e-mail you during the day and let you know if they can let me out early. I'm sorry. 

I have some ideas though...Since it was Easter last weekend can we simply talk about Easter and teach some words that are related to Easter? I found a simple PowerPoint that presented the death and resurrection of Jesus. I hope that there will be someone that can translate the story. Also, since they told us that they wanted to learn how to read and write,  I found some worksheets that are related to Easter. When they served as dinner last time, we had a chance to pray with them. I was really excited about it and I thought that maybe they wouldn't mind if we shared about Christ. It is just an idea though so please don't feel obligated to do this. 

 

That sounds like a great idea Abbey! If I can't make it tomorrow, I will like to chip in for anything you guys decide to get so just let me know!

 This week we will meet with our family on Thursday evening.  If you can come 
please let us know.  Also if you would like to lead this week's lesson, reply 
and let us know.  We can all pitch in to help prepare for the lesson though and 
Steven and I can take the lead if no one else is available this week.  Last time 
we met with our families, they graciously served our group dinner, so perhaps we 
could bring fruit, flowers, and a thank you card.  Just an idea though.  Let me 
know what you think.  I hope each of you are having a great start to your week 
and that the gift of Christ's death and resurrection continues to inspire and 
encourage you.
