Impinj Octane firmware update 5.14

If you have an Impinj R220/R420 reader, there have been firmware upgrades released for this reader that fix bugs and add features. I'm currently using v5.12.3 and it runs fine with CrossMgr. There is now a version 5.14 available.

Included in the download is a detailed PDF describing the features added in each release. Of particular interest to CrossMgr users are the features added in v5.8 and later versions.

A newer version of Impinj Octane firmware v6.2.0 is now available. There is a readme file that describes new features and bugs that have been fixed.

I ran a series of four races this weekend using the Impinj 6.2.0 firmware on my R220 reader; no problems.

Just upgraded my 2nd hand R220 and it seems to be working nicely with 6.2.1.240 (Build e06c7d3b556)

What's the trick to get the secondary/backup partitiion upgraded on the R420/R220 models? I can see that the primary is upgraded, but figured I'd upgrade the backup partition(image)

While the primary image can be upgraded from the web interface, the secondary image can only be upgraded using Telnet to the RShell command line. The command line interface is interactive, so after you login it will provide menu options to update the secondary/backup image.

CrossMgrimpinj 3.06 tested successfully with Impinj firmware 7.50 and Impinj R420-USA2M reader.
