Where is the CrossMgr.cfg file located?
I have not been able to get rid of the tooltip at startup. Looking in the code it appears to be getting a value out of CrossMgr.cfg,

but the location of that is opaque.

I think the file is missing. I did a search of the entire drive and couldn't find it.

Ditto.
I keep unticking the box to keep the startup tips. But I keep getting startup tips.
So thought I would track down where it was supposed to be and set (or reset) it manually.

Open Regedit and Control-F to search for crossmgr.cfg. I found the reg setting under hkey_users...software\c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\crossmgr\crossmgr.cfg

Anyway, this permanent-tips-at-startup thing appears to have been
introduced in
<https://github.com/esitarski/CrossMgr/commit/16d9d8ab1864651e194850582f0e3ef9cceacbc0>
- note the commenting-out of lines 218-219 (presumably for testing he
new tips), which prevents the tip being shown if they're disabled in the
settings.
You won't be able to fix this by editing the stored settings, as they're
being ignored.

And if you get rid of the tips.txt file you end up with a the tip popup say "No tips available".

Had our first Cross events yesterday.
Another "new" issue.
For each race when I went to batch publish, I got a dialog box saying my email was not set, do you want to set it now etc. Set it.
Doing a second batch publish for the same race was OK. But first batch publish for the next race, always got asked.
I wonder if this is related to the same config issue?

I'm getting the same issue the last few versions - just updated to latest version 3.1.64-20241008081902
Although I will add that I am enjoying the number of decent tips in there.
