Stupid question ... what do I need to look for in a camera to use CrossMgr Video?

Not asking for special features but actual required features so that the camera will functions.

I am looking at something in an industrial/CCTV camera

like this one

4MP IP Bullet Camera, IR Night Vision, ONVIF, Motorized Zoom, PoE, AI

I have been using  a webcam (Logitech) in testing and it is a mixed bag.  I have a few races coming up in January / February and would like to use CrossMgr to time at least 2 of them but need to solve this problem.  I have another option with another timing setup but trying to migrate most of my bike stuff here.

My big worry is buying some stuff that isn't cheap and ending up with a single use device (for use with BlueIris) and having to buy a second camera when I use CrossMgr

I've messed around with IP Cameras and have always come back to just using the Logitech Brio cams.  I just found that the IP cams are a pain to work with and I never got CrossMgrVideo to work with those.  I use the logitune app to get the exposure correct - although frame rate control would be nice.  

I have a few old digital video recorder cameras that I can get the bib# on.  But it would be nice to trigger recording from the CrossMgr read.  A Sony RX100 mark V or greater has a nice 1000fps burst mode, but again, you want to trigger that from the chip read.  I'm still manually recording the high speed finishes outside of CrossMgrCamera.
