Data Architect with BOBJ Universe Designer, WebIntelligence, Xcelsius and/or Crystal Reports experience
- Within project schedules and other defined deadlines, candidate will provide functional and technical services including:
•
The Data Architect / modeling expertise
•
Gather data information requirements and document
• Work with others to investigate numerous source systems
and identify data fields of record
• Model
source data into an integrated, high performing data warehouse design, allowing
for robust reporting and analytical capabilities
• Model a tactical operational data store when time is of
the essence, adding “dimensional”, quick-to-implement refinements to source data
layouts
• Develop conceptual, logical and
physical data models • Work with source system, ETL and database
administrators
• Participate with
management to develop implementation and maintenance strategies, processes,
procedures and best practices for integration processes
• Review and help refine Hardware specifications, current
landscape and implementation roadmap
•
Develop and execute unit, system and user acceptance test plans
• Provide technical knowledge transfer via paired
programming, peer coaching, and written documentation.
• Provide effective and timely oral and written
communications to management, peers and users
• Identification and escalation of issues and risks to
management in a timely manner
