I invite any and all of you who are interested in paradigm shift in medicine and science, transformation and change, and healing to join in the creation of Coyote Institute.  Details will be slowly appearing on that web site.

All my events are listed on "My Upcoming Events" at http://www.mehl-madrona.com.

    In April, I will be speaking in Portland, Oregon, April 9th through April 11th for the Portland Indian Center and also New Renaissance Book Store.  On the 16th and 17th of April, I will be in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and on the 18th and 19th at the Unitarian-Universalist Church in River Falls, Wisconsin.  On April 24th to 26th, I will be at All That Matters, in Rhode Island.  I will remain the rest of the week in Rhode Island to work with people interested in doing in intensives.

In May, I will be in Woodstock, NY, from May 8th to 10th, at the American Psychiatric Association on May 20th, at Mesa Center in Pittsburgh, PA, from May 22 to 24th, and back to All That Matters in Rhode Island from May 29th to 31st.

I've got something new that's really exciting.  Check it out on my web site at "My Projects"  I working to develop "cyber-collaborations" with any of you who are interested.  I'm working in the following areas:
 
1.  Outcomes of integrative health care (I'm especially interested in how spirituality and changes in spirituality affect health).
2.  Outcomes with traditional healers and healing
3.  Changing diabetes through traditional healing and also through enhancing spirituality and cultural awareness
4.  Exploring and expanding integrative psychiatry
5.  Developing a collaborative, multi-institutional cross-cultural mental health training program that is inclusive of all types of practitioners and includes traditional healers as faculty.
6.  Developing a course/book on aboriginal mind and mental health
 
I'm using google groups to do this which are accessed through my website initially or directly through google groups.  It turns out that google groups are excellent for building collaboration across distances.  Check it out and let's build capacity together.
 
I also have a blog at http://mehlmadrona.blogspot.com and an open discussion forum called Coyote Medicine, which is a google group.  I am inviting everyone to join my open discussion forum (ignore your invitation if you don't want to join) so that eventually I phase out newsletters per se.
