Hi guys

My Grand dad had been sick for a while and they were treating him for a host of things because they didn’t know what was wrong so for the past few months he came and went into hospital and out and they were treating for the symptoms and couldn’t find what was wrong.

So on Wednesday he then turned yellow, so they scanned his Gall bladder because that’s where bile comes from that turns people yellow and found out that it was not his gall bladder that had issues it was His Pancreas which apparently was now leaning on the gall bladder. They found a Cancerous growth on the pancreas. The Pancreatic cancer according to the doctors is very dangerous because it spreads like a veld fire in less than 2 months he will be gone if they don’t operate. Unfortunately He is 85 and to put him under for an Op that long is also very dangerous because he might never wake up, his heart is now weak.

So chances on both sides are not looking to good, but we decided to do the best we can rather than let him die of a painful cancer death. So today at 3-5pm he goes in for the pancreas extraction. Please pray for my grand dad and for my family to be financially and emotionally sound to handle this The prayers will be much appreciated!

Regards,
Lindsay

He’s out of the Op room now. There seems to have been no complications They said everything was good but just waiting for him to wake up. I also asked when we can see him but no response yet so I’m really happy it went well thank you all for your prayer cover. Ps Nikky came and He gave his life to the Lord. I was really teary at 85. He confessed that Jesus was Lord she stayed for over an hour guys. I was so blessed by her concern. A good thing has come out of this after all.
