Ok we might as well do everything here on email and if there is need we can meet up to finalise
Attached are the files the first one is the program for the night and then we have the events proposals as we will be running with this below are the things we need to sort out by Tuesday night as we will present this to Cros on Wednesday morning

Below is our to do list, volunteer and let's run with this.
  1. Deco on the day (Suggestion the night has the following colours...red, black and white)
  2. Roses for the ladies/ head wear (could be feathers or something)
  3. Budget for the things we need from Exco to send through to Wex (we'll need to buy roses, and everything we'll need on the night of the event)
  4. Draft of questions to be asked in the games
  5. MCs and Anchor suggestions and scripts
  6. Cut out and stick on cards for under the chairs, plus the adhesive material to be used
  7. Fundraising initiatives for the day etc
  8. Gong/ blow horn for the day
  9. Music and securing sound
  10. the list can be added any minute.
So help out where you can but do it fast if you can't I'll have to do this alone.

I hope all of you can make it to Cross early on Saturday

CAN'T LOVE WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.

Meet, get to know each other and foster relationships

As we continue to seek God and make him the centre of our lives, cross cares
would like to propose Valentine’s Hangout.

This is where we meet and get to know each other better. By knowing each other
we foster better relationships. Better relationships mean genuine love “GODs
Love” for each other.

Dress Code: Smart casual, Funky
Cocktail outfits (Every female
at the entrance will be provided
with a funky head wear with
either a rose or a feather):
Colour RED with a touch of
white or black only!

The night begins with mellow
music playing in the background
and ushers showing people to
their sits.
At 4:50 we can have prayer

Then the anchor for the night
will jump in and introduce
the night and say witty funny
statements.

Then he/she will introduce the
band for a song or two.
Soon after the anchor comes
back and they introduce the first
set of MC for the ice breaker
game.

The MCs come on and facilitate
the ice breaker game,
As soon as they are done the
anchor comes back on and
makes some comment about the
game and moves on to introduce
another entertainment break.

After the break they come back
and introduce the next set of

MCs

The MCs then facilitate another
game (Question and answer
game)

After the game the MCs hand
over to the anchor who the gives
instruction regarding the next
stage of the night, which will be
the (your 5 minutes of fame)
Name subject to change which is
the main thing for the night

This is how it will work .The
group is split into ½ because
of the cards they get under
their chairs. And as the ½ half
of people move out the bowls
with colour coded numbers are
presented to the remaining ½
they pick a number from each
bowl and then join the other
room for instruction.

The other ½ then will have
entered the other room set up
nicely with individual table with
numbers. As the 2nd half comes
in the rules are read out.

The rules

1. 5 min per table
2. colour sequence of numbers

3. Stop talking at the noise and
move to next table

Then the anchor and one
more MC will come back and
randomly pick the audience to
get feedback and a small quiz
after the brief meetings.

valentine with the unisex gift and
the official closing

Followed by a cocktail and dance until
people want to go home.

Blind fold questions and correct
answers will be rewarded by a
rose

After this there is the secret

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not
delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres. Love never fails.”
