Fall season info

Good evening, everyone! Time for a huge email blast now that the fall season registrations are opening up, and I'm sure some of you are anxious to get back out on the field.

First off, I'm not sure how to best break this up. The NY Coed leagues are opening up tomorrow, though the teams in the summer league have priority at some fields, so space might be limited. There is also the NYC soccer league as an option, and their registration is open now. So I'm going to have to throw a lot of info at you guys; bear with me, please, and let me know your preferences as soon as you can.

Or don't, if you want to be a jerk about it.

I think the best way is to split this up into the specific days (I'll summarize a bit at the end). These are all 7 v 7 seasons, and the NY Coed prices are $145 per person or less, depending on the amount of people on the team (12 people on the roster brings the cost down). The NYC Soccer prices vary. So here goes (deep breath):

MONDAY OPTIONS

LES (with NY Coed) - this is at the Lion's Gate field right off the subway by Grand & Broome, with kick-offs starting between 6:50 and 9:05. Season starts Sept. 8th.

Williamsburg (with NYCSoccer) - at BIP, kick-offs between 8 and 10 pm. Season starts the 8th. $165 per person.

TUESDAY OPTIONS

LES (with NY Coed) - Lion's Gate field by Grand & Broome, with kick-offs starting between 6:50 and 9:05. Season starts Sept. 9th.

Williamsburg (with NYCSoccer) - at Sternberg Park, kick-offs between 8 and 10 pm. Season starts the 9th. $150 per person.

WEDNESDAY OPTIONS

LES (with NY Coed) - Lion's Gate field by Grand & Broome, with kick-offs starting between 6:50 and 9:05. Season starts Sept. 10th.

THURSDAY OPTIONS

LES - (with NY Coed), Lion's Gate field by Grand & Broome, with kick-offs starting between 6:50 and 9:05. Season starts Sept. 4th.

Williamsburg - (with NY Coed), mainly at the BIP Field with some games at McCarren, kick-offs between 7:20 and 10:05 pm. Season starts Sept 4th. SUMMER TEAMS GET PRIORITY

Williamsburg (with NYCSoccer) - at Sternberg Park, kick-offs between 8 and 10 pm. Season starts the 11th. $150 per person.

FRIDAY OPTIONS

Let's pretend Friday leagues don't exist.

SATURDAY OPTIONS

LES (with NY Coed) - Sara D Roosevelt field at Chrystie & Stanton, with kick-offs starting between 12:00 and 2:15 pm. Season starts Sept. 13th.

LIC (woo, Queens!) (with NYC Soccer) - John Murray Playground, kick-offs between 2:30 and 4:30. Season starts Sept. 6th. $140 per person.

SUNDAY OPTIONS

East Village (with NYC Soccer) - East River Park, kick-offs between 3 pm and 7 pm. Season starts Sept. 7th. $150 per person.

Okay, so hope you guys made it this far. Basically, it looks like the NY Coed leagues in the LES are our best bet with them since they don't have a summer league going on. It's also a bit more economical. The downside is that their kick-offs are earlier (6:50 is the earliest). I'm hoping that the fact that it's downtown right by the train makes it more feasible for everyone to make the early games. If the majority go for Thursday, I'm going to try to get the BIP field league but let's not get our hopes up on that one.

What I need from you guys, though, is to give me your top 3 choices for the days, and if there are different locations/times, specify if you can't make one of them. I'm going to go based on days first, and then accommodate based on kick-off times. That sounds like it'll be the easiest way to get things organized.

Oh, also, I listed the Wednesday option for the sake of completion, but I'm really hoping no one prefers that since I know a few of us are in a league that night already for the next few weeks, at least. Personally, I'm leaning towards Tuesday or Thursday (and Saturday, but that's because I'm biased for Queens) in the LES. 

Let me know what you guys think! I'm hoping to get this done by tomorrow around 2 since registration opens for NY Coed at 4 pm.

Honestly, I am good with any of these.  Thursdays and Sundays are a little harder but I should be able to make them for the most part.

I vote Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday (but this might be hard to get numbers because it's still summer-ish/traveling season)

I think LES would work best for ppl with getting there from work/getting home. 

Could also do Monday's as well (3.5 choice)

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday are ideal for me, but tuesdays is also doable (would just have to reschedule a thing). I vote for LES in general, but could do BIP... dont really know where Sternberg is and I dont like new things... change is bad... so I vote against that.

I still don't have my teaching schedule, so not sure about anything. Just not the day the olympians will play and thats it.  Sternberg is close to the J train, I played there a while ago and the turf was good.  I prefer Williasmburg (of course), and LIC is my least favorite choice as I don't know where is it or how to get there.
