Thursdays League

Hi y'all,

I know we have like 20 different league things going on at the moment, but this is sorta new and getting set up (and I figure not everyone is going to be all for it, so I am sending it to the old groups to see if any of them old Crooklyn members want to rejoin and what not).

As you know we tried last time to join a Thursday league that plays at Brooklyn Bridge Park (its a beautiful field) for a 9 on 9 league. It didnt work out because Dale (the league organizer) wanted to keep the league going for the teams that were registered. As it turns out John (who most of you know and love... or tolerate) has a pretty good relationship with Dale and through a lot of asking (begging really) has gotten a slot for the thursday league. 

The idea is to combine Crooklyn and John's team The Olympians to create a frankenstein team (I was gonna call it super, but I think we fall more on the Frankenstein side). That can play a 9 on 9 league. 

So I am emailing you the details to see who wants to add this to their playing time. Ideally we would love to have most if not all of us, cuz I think it would be fun, goals are bigger, field is wider. (obviously would love to continue the Friday league, as I think it is our responsability to continue kicking ass on that one, so take this as an extra bit of exercise).

I think there is a chance for that.. John is really the guy that is managing this one. So maybe he can let us know. But I know there where other people talking about that possibilty
