How to add customize sidebar menu in croogo 3.0?

suppose i want to add a new menu item called "Students" in the sidebar menu. i have a student controller model and view. Now how will i do it?? I used croogo 1.4 before and there i can easily add edit admin menu at croogo_menus.php. Now i didn't find this file in 3.0.. Plz help urgent. thank you
