Could I ask anyone to explain why the following happens:

The default language is french
All of the menu links/titles are in french
English is the second language in the site
I have translated the menu links into English
The default menu links on the home page are now english - not french
The menu links in the admin section now show english main language,
and the french as a translation
When I delete the english translation the english remains as the
default menu link....

I am lost as to why this would happen.

This is actually happening to all translated content. The Site.locale
setting is set to fre for the French language, yet all the default
content is in English. Is there another setting somewhere else that
needs to be changes to stop Croogo using English as the default
langue??????
