Link Chooser in Croogo 3.X

Hi All
I've bene trying to work through the bug that causes the link chooser to fail when paging through links in the modal popup, and the filter/search function. Rather than performing a callback it's reloading the page when paging through or applying the filter. However, I'm stuck as to where to look. Any suggestions, gratefully received.
