Introduction

Hi, newbie to the group and S-100 systems in general. I'm going to be trying to run a cromix z80 system I think to begin with, so I can hang a couple of my terminals from it, and maybe going from there expand a little.

I am in the middle of getting a 3 terminal cromix system up and running on my recently restored Cromemco Z2.  It was working then my floppy controller died, so I am currently trying to figure that problem out, lol.

4, 16 or 64FDC? Which part, the RS-232 interface or the disk controller?

Well tonight I got the my 16FDC working and my "killdozer" 4FDC (It has my FDCX4 reproduction installed, my 4k ROM mod and my GAL-based 74903 PROM replacement making it basically a 16FDC with the write precompensation of a 64FDC) working.  Now I only have my stock 4FDC giving me trouble.  Using a modified RDOS1 ROM I have figured out it is locking up on the first OUT instruction to the TMS5501 in INITBAUD.  I think I have narrowed down to the two 74S373s, but besides replacing both of them I am not sure what else I can do to narrow it down.
