Cromemco Group Managers: trouble making reply on behalf of effinim...@gmail.com

I received a private message from Niles ( effinim...@gmail.com ) commenting on one of my posts and relating that he was having trouble:  "Please excuse the PM but despite being e member for decades I don't seem to be able to post to group and can't find out who or how to ask!"

I too can only post via a reply to the emails I receive and never got access to the website etc.  But since I’m just a viewer those things are not so important. 

 

OTOH, it makes it difficult to post the Cromemco DAZZLER programming work I’ve done:

So whilst you can reply to an email of course you can create a new posting

In the Google Groups admin I turn on the posting flag as you can see here for Rancho.

The easiest way to make a new posting is simply to send an email to

crom...@googlegroups.com

from the email that you are registered against of course.

I do this from my Gmail userid logged in as same and this is great because using Gmail you can include inline photos etc,  which you cannot easily do if you go via the web interface which would be

New Conversation obviously.

Does that answer any questions or muddy the waters still further??
