Subject: Update

Dear family and Friends:

The last couple of weeks have been a bit hectic for Stephen.  The 5 day stay for the horse ATG treatment ended up lasting 9 days because of complications and an infection. He had a good week at home, then last Thursday he was in the ER because of severe headaches, vomiting, and a rapid heart rate. After being discharged at 2 AM, we came home for a few hours of sleep. On Friday at his scheduled doctor visit, he was admitted to the hospital. He remained there for 4 days fighting an infection. The day after he was discharged, his head pain returned, along with the nausea and vomiting. After much discussion with the PA at MDA, it was decided to treat him for the symptoms at home. He was feeling better yesterday.

Please continue to pray for his healing. To pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical staff involved in his care. To pray for much needed rest for all of us. For peace in the midst of all that is going on.
