Here is what we will cover tonight—along with anything else anybody wants to bring up…
I-----Report from Becca re: decorations/theme
II----Report from Carolyn Greer about the class video
III—Report from Mike Meredeith and Ken Howard regarding the golf outing
IV—Report from Wally regarding the contract with 12 Oaks
V—Report from Wally regarding the hiring of a DJ
VI—Report from Kay Dalton regarding Class of ’70 faculty
VII—Possible update from Rhonda Laks and husband Earl regarding name tags for reunion
VIII—Discussion regarding photos. I have asked Phyllis Rummell to join us to discuss. She went to Crockett in ’69, but ended up graduating from Travis in’70. She did all the pictures for the Travis reunion a couple of months ago.
IX---Discuss awards/categories
X—Discuss “treasury process”. In other words how are we going to handle the money? Hopefully, Rodney Bryant will be at the meeting since he agreed to allow us to use his MC/V merchant account and therefore it may make sense that he handles all the money. We’ll discuss.
XI—Master of ceremonies discussion—the company I have identified to provide a DJ also suggested we use the DJ as our MC. We will discuss.
XII—Go over assignments and responsibilities in detail.
XIII—Rodney to hopefully update us on the informal gathering slated for Friday evening Sept 10th at the Broken Spoke.
XIV—Miscellaneous items.
XV—Adjourn—hopefully by 9PM.(Hope is my new “strategy”…J)

Kay Dalton won’t be able to make it tonight but he gave me her update which was substantial. I also wanted to mention that Beth Bouldin has been “very” helpful in gathering information on Class of ’70 faculty and she may be at the meeting tonight to discuss. She and Kay are working together on this piece…

So sorry that Tim and I could not attend this evening…we are both at home ill with bronchitis/walking pneumonia, and have been for about a week. Hopefully we are on the mend, but are still coughing and hacking…didn’t think everyone would enjoy that type of “input” this evening!
It looks as though you had a very organized and productive meeting. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

I completely understand, Gail. It was the best meeting we have had yet. I think it is because we are getting close and everyone knows we have to “get it in gear” now…I need to talk to Tim when he is feeling better. We all nominated him to be the MC at the reunion.
