Dear all,

IIT Bombay is one of the best research institutes in India.

Being a student here, do we all know the meaning of the terms
“plagiarism” and “Research Integrity”?

Institute Research Scholar Companion Program (IRSCP) is organizing a
session on “Research Ethics and Integrity” by one of the eminent
professors of the institute followed by a session on “usage of
Turnitin”

The session includes various aspects related to Intellectual Property
Rights pertaining to academic research. Some common types of intellectual
property rights (IPR) are copyright, patents, and trademarks.

Please register for the session in the link below. Also, speaker would
like to know the questions/queries most students have in their minds about
research.

Some of the questions that will be addressed are

1)        Will only giving credit to the authors enough?
2)        How to use picture, facts and tables from Books and Journal articles?
3)        What kind of work should be patented, published and to be presented in
conference?
